Why should I shop here?

Every time you begin your shopping at the Machinists Mall, you earn Rebate Dollars. You simply click on a retailer's name or logo and shop online as usual. You'll earn Rebate Dollars for the purchases you make during that session. It's that easy.

How do rebates work?

When you make purchases through the Machinists Mall, a portion of your purchase is credited to your account as Rebate Dollars. On a quarterly basis, if you have accumulated at least $10 in Rebate Dollars, and you're a member in good standing of the Machinists, we'll convert the Rebate Dollars to a check and mail it to you.

Can I go directly to a retailer's web site, or do I always have to start here?

In order to receive Rebate Dollars, you must begin your shopping here every time. It's the only way your purchases can be tracked in order to earn Rebate Dollars.

When will the Rebate Dollars I've earned appear in my account?

The amount of time between when you place your order with a merchant and when your Rebate Dollars appear in your account can vary widely, depending on the merchant. It takes up to 45 days to appear in your account.

Do I get Rebate Dollars every time I shop, or just the first time?

You get Rebate Dollars every time you shop, when you start your shopping session here. Plus, there is no limit to the amount of Rebate Dollars you can earn from this online mall.

Do I get Rebate Dollars for anything I buy?

Some retailers do not offer Rebate Dollars for certain products and services such as gift certificates. Also, taxes and shipping fees are not eligible for Rebate Dollars. You can get specific details on the information page for each retailer. To find the retailer information, click on the "more info" link next to the retailer's name on any shopping category page.

What happens to the Rebate Dollars I've earned if I have to return a purchase?

All returns will result in a deduction of Rebate Dollars previously awarded for that purchase.

Do I need a coupon code to take advantage of special offers?

In some cases you do. The coupon code will be given to you along with the special offer.

How do I know how many Rebate Dollars I will receive for each purchase I make?

You will earn a different amount from each retailer, depending on what you buy at that retailer's site. We show you the number of Rebate Dollars you will get for each $1 you spend at a specific merchant. View the retailer's information page for specific details.

What does it mean if it shows a range (e.g. 2-5 %)?

The number of Rebate Dollars earned varies depending on the products you purchase from that retailer. See the retailer's information page for more details. You can view the retailer's information page by clicking on the "more info" link on any product category page.

How will you use information about me?

We use email to communicate with you about your purchases and rebates. We use your postal address to mail your rebate checks. We may use your email address and phone number to contact you in the course of resolving any problems you may have. If you opt in, we can also send you special offers from merchants.
